Over the next few days we’ll be completing our local real estate market updates for September 2005.
We’ve been looking for ways to improve integration of our market activity reports into our web site. A newsfeed has just been added that places the latest Oakland County real estate news from our blog directly onto the site. Over the coming weeks, as we explore syndication further, we hope to be adding relevant feeds from other sites as well.
In the meantime, we are beefing up city pages on our web site for the areas we serve. Headway has been made on Birmingham and Beverly Hills. One of the “fun” things I’ve added to the content is famous people who’ve lived here. For Birmingham I came up with Christine Lahti, Mike Binder, David Spade, Kid Rock, Laura Innes (ER’s Dr. Kerry Weaver). My sole “star” for Beverly Hills is Tim Allen (who I believe still owns a home in our fair village). I’ve only come up with Hollywood types so far, but I could use help. I am at a loss for well-known people from Troy. Haven’t begun to think about other areas like Bloomfield Hills (Robin Williams, I think), Royal Oak, Berkley, Farmington, or Rochester (yes, Madonna is obvious!).
