Hmmm. Are the Big 3 seizing on the booming national real estate market to help deal with sagging domestic car sales? GMC introduced the GMC Pad at the LA Auto Show. The concept vehicle is being billed as an “urban loft with mobility.” Hip, high-tech living for people who can’t afford a house and a car.
I’m not usually one to be following the auto shows, much to my husband’s chagrin, but I this one caught my eye. Not necessarily for good reasons. It looks like something from Star Trek to me. Maybe they are going after the previously untapped Trekkie market.
If they introduce it here I wonder if they will require the dealers to get real estate licenses? Just kidding.
