Everyone has seen the reports in the paper about the lagging property market in South East Michigan. There are more sellers than buyers, and so on.

All I can say is that since January 1, we’ve been really busy SELLING houses. Mostly our listings. Hits on our web sites are up, showings are up, and contracts are being written. Buyers still have a lot to chose from, so its important that homes be in the best possible condition for showings, with nice curb appeal AND that they be competitively priced for current market conditions AND that they be well exposed to the widest pool of potential buyers. Until all three of these things are in place, you could be left waiting for an offer.
