I figured out how to add a profile, and that too only lasts for 30 days. I doubt I would do it again. But I am wondering if adding a blog to googlebase, especially if it is a new one, like mine, will get it indexed more quickly. I haven’t had a visit from the googlebot since Sept 10, and I don’t have many pages indexed. So, I wonder if AR is going to resubmit our blogs every 30 days?

The problem I find with it is that Google Base entries expire after 30 days and you have to keep resubmitting them. And basically I’m too lazy to do that. I’m also not sure it’s worth the effort. People don’t (yet) seem to use GoogleBase to look for sites/blogs. They use regular old Google for that…. On the other hand, putting listings on Base seems like a good idea. We haven’t got a live buyer from Base, but have had a few email inquiries. And seller’s like to hear “I’ll put your listing on GoogleBase”. Our web site provider automatically syndicates all out listings to Base, Trulia, Yahoo, etc. I’ve put my main web site on Google Base in the past.
