A little bit of GOOD NEWS!

If you are home seller in South East Michigan, its probably been a rough road. This week we had a couple of exciting things happen that we thought we should share to let you know that there are buyers making offers out there.

We took a new listing in Birmingham last week. A very nice home. We sat down with the sellers and laid out a game plan for getting the house sold about a month ago. They went into high gear and loaded up a POD to declutter and get the house into perfect showing condition. We had a long discussion about price. They took our advice and priced the home for current market conditions. Before the end of the week, the home was under contract. Less than seven days from list to sealed deal! We successfully negotiated something that pleases everyone involved. Today, the inspection contingency period ended, so we mark it pending Monday and move toward closing in early December. It looks like a happy ending is on the near horizon for the sellers.

We have another listing that received multiple offers this week. Its been on the market for a few months. Its in great condition and also priced very competitively. There has been an increase in showing over the last few weeks, and we were thrilled to have a couple of parties expressing interest. Now it looks like we’ve got it on paper and we have a meeting of the minds. Again, happy buyer and happy seller.

The phones are ringing more. Showings are up. Buyers are calling and expressing interest. We are optimistic!
