Technology is NOT Making My Day!
Published November 13th, 2006 in Dmitry and Maureen.
Over the last two weeks, our company has been upgrading it’s email system. We have a very talented new General Manager who brings with him many years of experience in high tech companies. He is a very strong asset.
When he arrived, about 6 months ago, he identified our old email service as being inadequate, and on its last legs. Since then, he has kept the old system patched together so that business could go on. Then, it just got to be too much. So we switched over before catastrophe struck.
As I have said before, I love change. I am super excited about the new tools we are getting with this new system. But the transition has been a little bumpy. I know I haven’t received some emails from clients, and I know some of my clients have not received things I sent to them. I am putting this out there so that everyone knows. I AM NOT IGNORING YOU! I probably did not get your message.
I guess this is a good enough time to ask you to use my domain email address (maureen(at)maureenfrancis.com). No problems there. And I certainly do not want to miss hearing from you!

Hate to burst your bubble, but I am using my own domain name, my mail was down 2 days last week and has been on and off this week. Most mail providers have upgraded there spam filters because of the amount of spam clogging servers. I can’t get notes to many of my clients and some of my notes won’t go out at all because they are getting hung up in the new spam filters my provider has. I am putting forms on all of my web sites to ehlp make it easer.
POP! Bubble burst!
