Is the economy really that bad?

Prevailing thought, perpetually reinforced by the media, would tell you that the economy in SE Michigan is pretty bad. The one state recession. But Birmingham resident Gordon Rinschler takes a glass is half full attitude in his fine piece over on BhamBuzz.org.
