Indulge me for a minute or two. It’s been kind of a nice few days in the small world of miOaklandCounty.com.

Larry Cragun of Real Estate Undressed and Mortgages Undressed nominated me for his Magnificent 7. Actually, the title of his piece is One Terrific Blogger: Maureen Francis. Now who wouldn’t like that (if her name were Maureen Francis)?

And I got a really nice mention from Jonathan Dalton from Phoenix AZ. My fellow Michigander, Black Tie Todd Waller happened to refer to one of my posts in his Carnival of Real Estate winning entry this week. Thanks, Todd. We always like it when Michigan brings home an honor in the Carnival!

Ken Mascia’s post on home inspections caused some excitement on the forums at NACHI.or, the site of the National Association of Home Inspectors. I tried to get onto the NACHI forums to post a response, or invite one of the inspectors to post on my blog, but I was locked out by their registration thingy. Anyway, I thank Nick Gromicko from NACHI for the influx of traffic.

Flagstar mortgage lender extraordinaire, Josh Plummer, gave us a bit of recognition on JoshPlummer.com. We like Josh, both as a blogger and as a committed mortgage professional. He’s in our SE Michigan market, if you need mortgage advice.

Last, but not least, Tino Buntic linked to us as he set the new unofficial record for anchor text links. We aren’t really sure why Tino chose us, along with 2215 of his other closest friends, and its unlikely that we’ll ever know.

Not bad for a slow week in blogging. Thanks, guys, for the attention. We like it!
