The second Carnival of ActiveRain has just come to an end. For those of you unfamiliar with ActiveRain, it is an outstanding community of real estate professionals. If you are involved in real estate, you should check it out and consider joining.
November’s Carnival of ActiveRain focused on consumer content, or, as I like to call it ‘blogging for the people’. We broke it down to the 5 consumer categories on ActiveRain.
Here’s a recap, in case you missed any of the winning entries:
Lenn Harley took the honors in Market Reports for the Columbia, Maryland Real Estate Market Report. I liked this market report because it gives a bit of information about the area, in addition to the usual statistics. It’s also got Lenn’s great maps and house pictures. Lenn’s post was selected by Fran Rokicki.
A prize from Damion Flynn’s Surprise Blog. The category winner for Advertise a Listing was The Harper Team, with Advertise That Listing - Don’t Advertise That House You Just Listed. Interesting twist, gentlemen.
Linda Davis, who, along with Damion Flynn and Toby Boyce, was a winner in the Inaugural Edition of the Carnival of ActiveRain, handed the honors to Kristal Kraft in the About A Region for category for Where the Buffalos Roam.
Toby Boyce had a big trophy for Rich Jacobson for a piece from his first time buyer’s series called Adventures in First Time Home Buying: “Make Them an Offer They Can’t Refuse” in the General Information category.
And, last but not least Justin from the Christian Real Estate Network lead us on over to Holiday Fun in Aggieland by Chris Tesch. Chris took the honors for Regional News & Events.
Thanks to Fran, Toby, Damion, Linda and Justin for a fine job of hosting. I know from last month that making the choice is not easy, especially with all of the great blogging taking place on ActiveRain.
