Thanks Joe. I did not see that. Itâ€™s hard when something has been so heavily hyped. People, including me, expect that things will happen more quickly. Donâ€™t get me wrong, itâ€™s still a very exciting project for the area.

Have you looked at the Wireless Oakland website? (www.wirelessoakland.com) In the FAQ section it states that Birmingham is not yet on the system and is expected to see service sometime after the first of the year. Remember, youâ€™re in the PILOT areas of the rollout, and the very nature of a pilot program is that itâ€™s in the testing and experimental phase. If youâ€™ve been following the news stories, youâ€™d have realized how much work has actually already been done and how much more complex itâ€™s all been than was first anticipated.
