Published January 24th, 2007 in Metro Detroit.
We did an little informal survey today of things that people liked about living in Berkley, Michigan, which is not to be confuse with Berkeley, California. For some reason they have an extra ‘e’ out there on the left coast. Many more favorites were mentioned, but these were a few that came up repeatedly.
- My streets are always plowed. The city services are phenomenal.
- Donut Cutter!
- The meat department at Hiller’s Market
- The Doll and Toy Soldier Hospital
- Amici’s Pizza
- Clark’s Ice Cream
- Great central location
- O’Mara’s Restaurant
- Alex’s Restaurant
- The Berkley Front (Berkley’s best known watering hole)
We are in the process of working on a new Berkley real estate page for Oakland County Homes. In the meantime, if you are considering moving to or from Berkley, give us a call at 248.961.0801.
