The Granddaddy of all open houses coming to Metro Detroit in April
Published February 2nd, 2008 in Buyer Information, Metro Detroit, Things to do.
Calling all home buyers, looky-loos, nosy neighbors and undecided: mark your calendars for Sunday April 27th.
Agents in four counties—Oakland, Macomb, Wayne and Livingston—are invited to hold open houses on Sunday, April 27. The open houses will be publicized in a special tabloid-sized section of both the Detroit Free Press and Detroit News the Friday before the event and on an exclusive Web site, www.TheBigOpenHouse.com. Municipalities and school districts within the four counties are invited to advertise events or activities held in conjunction with the open houses.
“We’ve seen similar measures taken on a smaller scale in areas like Bloomfield Township, Troy and Berkley,” Walt Baczkowski said. “But The Big Open House aims to be the Super Bowl of community open houses.”
Count on seeing Dmitry and me holding open houses that day. I can’t tell you yet where we will be, but we will let you know!

What a great event - this should bring some great prices and qualified buyers together for successful transactions - let us know how it turns out.
Nifty, we are doing something very similar in National Homeownership month. (June)
Post the results…it will be neat to see.
Thesa and Bob, I will report back in later.
