Come one, come all Michigan Bloggers. We are being honored by a visit from the real estate blog tour bus that is traveling across America this summer. Sellsius Blog Tour USA is stopping in Birmingham and we are meeting at SKBK Sotheby’s today around noon. I presume Rudy and Joe will be in town for [...]

I love that little Plugoo thingy over to the right. It allows people to chat with me if I am on line or to send me messages if I am off line. Those messages actually come through to my Blackberry immediately, so if there were a “real estate emergency” (like you need me to write [...]

A few weeks ago another Realtor in the Birmingham MI real estate market referred to me derogatorily as a “blogger”, somehow implying that blogging is not something that a real estate agent does to sell homes. Oh, how wrong he is. And I am OK that he does not know better. Another victim of “Old [...]

Here comes a post that has nothing to do with real estate or metro Detroit or Oakland County. Some times we just have to do something just for fun, right? Today miOaklandCounty.com is about to pass a memorable milestone. Akismet, our spam comment blocking program is about to devour its 15,000 piece of comment spam. [...]

The schools are closed here in Birmingham today, so I’ve been doing fun things with my 3 year old like making bluish-green raspberry oatmeal for breakfast. She is in a colored food phase. The color theme continues, as I am tickled pink right now. See photo below for proof. Larry Cragun of Real Estate Undressed [...]

In the ever changing world of miOaklandCounty’s sidebars you will now find Meebo. It is all the rage in the blogging world right now, and its popping up on real estate blogs as quickly as for sale signs on front lawns in South East Michigan. Ouch. I should not have said that. Anyway, Meebo lets [...]

Two of my favorite bloggers have just joined forces to create Sound Bite Blog. Catchy name, huh? Mark Flanders is a mortgage guy and Rich Jacobson is a Realtor, and they live and work on the Kitsap Peninsula which is near Seattle. I’ve been reading them for months on another platform and they’ve introduced me [...]
